Prospectus Guidelines

PROSPECTUS GUIDELINES

The Trinidad & Tobago Securities & Exchange Commission has published a set of Prospectus Guidelines for the information of the public. These guidelines provide details of the information that should be included in prospectuses to be filed with the Commission in registering securities to be issued to the public.

The guidelines are intended to encourage issuers to meet the international standards for disclosure in prospectuses and allow investors to make informed investment decisions.

The guidelines may be accessed by visiting the Commission’s website. Copies may also be obtained from the Commission’s offices at a cost of $20.00 per copy.

Guidelines.

The Commission also takes this opportunity to remind the public that the Securities Industry Act 1995 requires that no security shall be sold to the public unless it is registered with the Commission. Information on registered securities can be obtained directly from the Commission or on its website.
