The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (“TTSEC”) is once again alerting the public to a fraudulent online investment scheme operating under the names Stable Rowdex, Stable Capital and Futurix Capital which is promoting an AI-related investment opportunity.
The TTSEC has confirmed that the Scheme is distributing AI-generated videos, fabricated newspaper articles, altered images and other falsified promotional content purporting to show endorsements from the Honourable Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and other prominent individuals including, Dr. Ronald Ramkissoon and Mr. Wendell Mottley, ORTT.
