The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (“TTSEC”) is advising the public of a fraudulent online investment scheme operating under the name Stable Rowdex (also referred to as Stable Capital) which is promoting a cryptocurrency-related investment opportunity.
The TTSEC has confirmed that the Entity is distributing AI-generated videos, fabricated news articles, altered images and other falsified promotional content purporting to show endorsements from the Honourable Prime Minister, the Honourable Minister of Finance and other prominent individuals.
