Section 4(9) of the Securities Act 2012 (2014 As Amended) empowers the Commission to designate a jurisdiction as an approved foreign jurisdiction. Pursuant to this provision, the Commission established a listing of approved foreign jurisdictions via an Order of the Commission re: The Approved list of Designated Foreign Jurisdictions dated August 25, 2015.
