Mr. Christopher Sandy is an experienced professional with thirty (30) years’ involvement in the financial services industry in both the insurance and banking sectors. His experience spans several functional areas including, accounting, investment management and the trusteeship and administration of mutual funds and pension plans. His most recent appointment was as General Manager of the trust services subsidiary of a leading commercial bank.
Mr. Sandy is a member and a former Treasurer of the CFA Society Trinidad and Tobago. He is also a past member and Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Port of Spain.
He has a B.Sc. in Management Studies and an M.Sc. in Accounting from the University of the West Indies. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Mr. Sandy was appointed as Commissioner on June 10, 2024, for a term of three years. This will be his first appointment as a Commissioner.
