As the regulator of the CIS market which includes closed ended and open ended CISs (mutual funds) as well as certain kinds of annuity schemes, the Commission presently regulates this market, in accordance with the Commission’s Collective Investment Scheme Guidelines (the Guidelines), dated July 2nd, 2008.
The Commission has drafted the Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) By-Laws to replace the existing Guidelines.
The deadline for the submission of comments has been extended to Friday 8th March 2019.
