The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (USSEC) in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC) are jointly hosting a workshop for local and regional regulators from 26th -30th September 2011 at the Hilton Trinidad & Conference Centre in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The workshop will be conducted in English and is designed to allow participants to discuss a number of areas of immediate and widespread concern in the Caribbean Capital Markets, including:

  • Challenges of Securities Regulation
  • Key Elements for Building an Effective Enforcement Program
  • Building Compliance Programs in Broker-Dealers and Investment Advisors
  • Lessons learned from the Market Crisis
