As a member of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), the Commission fully endorses the guidance provided by IOSCO, which are quite often extremely relevant in our local context.
This Memorandum of Understanding (“Memorandum”) is entered into among the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (CBTT), the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and the Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC).
The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC), Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (CBTT), formalised an agreement concerning cooperation and information sharing.
On Wednesday April 09 2014, at the offices of the Financial Services Commission in Barbados, SEC Chairman, Professor Patrick Watson signed the Caribbean Group of Securities Regulators’ (CGSR) Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MMoU) for the Exchange of Information, Cooperation and Consultation.
The TTSEC is a member of The International Forum for Investor Education (IFIE) -Americas Chapter.
The Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC) conducted its first stakeholder outreach meeting for 2014 with the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SDATT) and executed a protocol governing their relationship at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel on January 8th, 2014.
